i know that i was supposed to post this a while ago, but its better late than never!

i havent updated my blog in a while, so its about time i do this. in class i have been working on a vase with the texture of a rock wall or something like that. Here's a picture of it when it wasn't quite completed, but i finsished it up on friday

i kind of like how this turned out, but i still have to figure out what glaze i'm going to use to really make this texture apparent.

concentration in progress

my concentration is essentially different textures on wheel thrown forms. Here is an example of a pot that i threw earlier in the year as my texture was very simple.

Right now i'm trying to elaborate on different textures I could possibly recreate. My trip over winter break inspired a few, but i will need to explore them when i get a chance.
