tea bowls!

so for this weeks concentration piece i made teabowls:

tumblers?

so for my latest piece i decided to make some tumblers to fit into my concentration of liquid bearing vessels. any ways here are a few. i think i'm still going to refine my shape and make a semi consistent set. haha.

and then for the project after this i'm planning on making a set of tea bowls.

recently i've finished up my beersteins (or so i think at the moment) and i'm thinking about my next project which will probably be goblets after the break! sooo.... yea! maybe it will be or maybe it wont. but heres a cool shaped goblet, which is conventient for my because many of my cups are this form.

so empty bowls was this wednesday, i think the even went quite well, i'm not sure how much money it brought in compared to last year, but by the time i left, we didnt have very many bowls left. so thats good!!

update on class work

today i scrubbed my shot glasses so they're looking good to be fired!

and i also glazed like twenty more bowls of mine for empty bowls:

oh and yesterday i threw a few things. two gonna be beersteins and one funky vase. so yeaahhh. here that is. the beersteins are for my concentration:

these are some of the shotglasses i've been working on this week. i have 33 at the moment with 16 of them trimed. i think they're turning out pretty cool so far. anyways thats about it for this week

i think i've finished cups at least for now, i know that i'll probably come back to them at some point because it would be nice to have a set of at least four that are nearly identical. so i'll see what i can do. but since monday i've been working on a few mugs to test out which styles i should make more of. anyways heres a picture of what i've been working on:
