muuuugs.

i think i've finished cups at least for now, i know that i'll probably come back to them at some point because it would be nice to have a set of at least four that are nearly identical. so i'll see what i can do. but since monday i've been working on a few mugs to test out which styles i should make more of. anyways heres a picture of what i've been working on:

for my concentration i'm still perfecting my cup form but once i'm happy with my work i'm going to shift to mugs seeing as i have to have some of those done before the end of the month! anyways here are some mugs that i like for different reasons. My biggest concern is still figuring out how to make my favorite form and then texturing it. I'm sure a good handle will come after testing a few different styles.

so today was the throwathon and i helped out from the end of 3rd period until the end of the event. i thought it went very well as far as the throwing. Trimming is going to be fun.. hah. psych. anyways, my post is about more cups! cups cups cups. i have been throwing cups this year to work on my cup form and after i master that i think that i will start adding more texture to the cups than just the throw lines. after i do textures on cups i think that i will make some mugs, but for the mean time. here's a picture of a cup with a cool texture that i might think about recreating in my own style.
