more texture!

lately i've just been throwing pots and adding a texture to them and i've found myself putting the same texture on pots. for now this is okay, becuase some of my pots haven't turned out. but heres another texture i'd like to try!

i like this concept of creating textures on pots using slip. I may experiment with this soon, because i need to find some new textures. I think this style would work very well with the form of my pots, and make them very unique.

since i have been competing at the state skiing competition, i didnt have time to update my blog last week. so i'm doing it now!

i have been working on a vase with flattened sides (that i burnished) and the rounded parts that i added a texture to. so here it is
